Washing Your Car In The Sun

The most sensible thing to do if you have to wash your car in direct sunlight or a hot climate is to wash it earlier in the morning before the heat of the sun begins to really set in or later on in the evening when temperatures have dropped and the sun is at a lower level in the sky.
Washing your car in the sun. So if you wash your car either at night or in the shade you have the chance to dry your car completely with a dry lint free rag before the sun has a chance to do it. Again assuming you have a good wax hose the entire car down wash the roof rinse. First the sun heats up the metal to the point its scalding hot to the touch. If you absolutely must wash your car in the sun keep the surface cool with a regular spray of water.
Plus if you let the water droplets dry before wiping them off they tend to leave spots on your car. Wash the trunkrinse and rinse roof and hood again and so on. Dousing your car with water in bright sunlight can be ruinously bad for its finish. Washing it in shade will give you a chance to dry it off before that happens.
Wash the hood rinse and rinse the roof again. Sometimes half of my car will be in the sun if i am lazy and dont want to move the other one.
